At Wigope, we respect your privacy and provide users with the ability to delete their account and associated personal data.
How to Delete Your Wigope Account
You can delete your account directly from within the Wigope mobile application:
Open the Wigope app.
Sign in to your account.
Navigate to Profile.
Open Settings.
Select Delete Account.
Verify your registered mobile number using the OTP sent by Wigope.
Confirm your account deletion request.
Once confirmed, your account deletion request will be processed.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When your account is deleted, Wigope will remove or anonymize personal data associated with your account, including:
Profile information
Name and contact details
App preferences
Referral information
Saved account settings
Authentication data
Associated user-generated account information
Data That May Be Retained
Certain records may be retained for a limited period where required by applicable laws, regulatory obligations, fraud prevention requirements, dispute resolution, taxation, auditing, security investigations, or financial compliance obligations.
Examples may include:
Transaction records
Recharge records
Bill payment records
Wallet ledger records
Regulatory compliance logs
Fraud prevention and security logs
Such retained information is stored securely and is not used for marketing purposes.
Deletion Timeline
Most account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. In some cases, legally required records may be retained for a longer period as required by applicable laws and regulations.
